Insubmisso respects the heritage of Vinho Verde DOC Loureiro while exploring new dimensions of this variety.

In 2002, what began as a peaceful weekend retreat laid the foundation for Insubmisso, a project rooted in passion, hard work, and determination. A growing connection to the Ponte de Lima region inspired the creation of a wine that unites tradition, knowledge, and innovation.

Since its first harvest in 2019, Insubmisso has emerged as an innovative and promising Loureiro, participating in fairs and regional events. By contributing to the appreciation of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region’s heritage, Insubmisso reinforces its purpose: honoring the past, understanding the present, and shaping the future of Vinho Verde.

  • Acquisition of Casa de Penelas

    Purchase of the property and beginning of the estate’s restoration.

  • Vineyard Planting

    The viticultural project begins with half a hectare of Loureiro planted.

  • First Edition of Insubmisso

    The first harvest and launch of Insubmisso, a Vinho Verde DOC Loureiro.

  • Insubmisso Barrica

    A limited edition of Insubmisso Barrica, a Loureiro aged in French oak barrels.
